The Regional Development Company of Crete S.A. continues its activities into the summer! This time, it makes use of the unique history and natural surroundings of M.YIS. Agyia by organizing a morning program for children aged 6 to 12.
The aim of the program is to make use of children’s free time during their summer holidays through a series of cultural, athletic, and educational activities. Upon arrival, children will be divided into age-based groups, each led by an experienced group leader/instructor.
- The summer camp will run for a total of 6 weeks during June and July (17/06 – 26/07), from 08:00 a.m. to 15:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Children may attend one or all of the thematic periods, each lasting 2 weeks, as outlined below:
Period A: 17/06/2024 – 28/06/2024
Period B: 01/07/2024 – 12/07/2024
Period C: 15/07/2024 – 26/07/2024
- Arrival and departure may take place directly at M.YIS. AGYIA (08:00 – 15:30) or from the courtyard of the Chania Regional Unit. A bus with an escort will pick up the children at 08:00 and return them at 15:30. Bus cost: €4/day.
- Participation cost is €100/week or €200/period, with a 10% discount for children attending more than one period or for siblings.
- Children should arrive at camp having eaten a light breakfast. During breaks, they will be provided with fruit and snacks to enjoy under the trees in the courtyard of the Small Hydroelectric Station.
- Each child should wear athletic clothing, a hat, and sports shoes, and carry a light backpack with sunscreen and a second set of clothes.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in the program should note that priority will be given based on the order of applications received, as spots are limited.
