On Tuesday, February 17, at the 14th Primary School of Chania, SHPP Agia successfully carried out an educational activity for 6th-grade students titled: “Traveling with SHPP Agia! Our fellow passengers: Energy, Movement, Biodiversity!” The activity was designed by the Regional Development Company of Crete as part of SHPP’s participation in the “Move It Now!” initiative.
As part of the 3rd Summer Film School / Cinema Summer Camp of the Chania Film Festival, the film team Converters created an 8-minute documentary titled Kilowatt: energy yesterday – culture today. The film explores the history of the former Small Hydroelectric Power Plant and highlights its vital contribution during its years of operation.
