We are delighted to introduce the new “Sensory Backpacks” at SHPP Agia.
Designed especially for children with neurodiversity, the Sensory Backpacks are available for use in all educational programs, as well as during individual visits.
These easy-to-use backpacks contain carefully selected objects that provide enjoyable and interactive sensory support. They are specifically designed to enhance the museum experience for children with additional sensory needs.
The items help regulate exposure to multiple stimuli during a visit to SHPP Agia, reducing anxiety, minimizing possible confusion, and preventing sensory overstimulation. In this way, young visitors can feel more relaxed, confident, and engaged as they explore the former Power Plant.
Our goal is to give every child the opportunity to discover SHPP independently, calmly, and with genuine enthusiasm.
The four Sensory Backpacks are available at the Activities Building and are offered free of charge during your visit.
