“Illuminate the History of M.YIS. Agyia”
The Regional Development Company of Crete S.A., which manages the Small Hydroelectric Station of Agyia, is seeking to piece together the missing fragments of the station’s history. Help us and contribute your part to the industrial history of the Chania region!
We are looking for:
• Archival and historical material (photographs, maps, deeds, studies, newspaper clippings, objects, etc.), primary sources from 1920 to 1940 related to M.YIS. Agyia or the lake and local mills.
• Individuals who worked themselves or had relatives working at M.YIS. Agyia from 1950 to 1980.
