Three short clips were created to mark the launch of the educational programs and activities hosted at the former SHPP facilities.
Guided by experienced educators, participants explore the centuries-old history of Renewable Energy Sources, discover the island’s rich industrial heritage, and learn about the unique ecosystem of the protected Natura area.
The Power Plants’ experiential programs are designed to cultivate students’ skills and values through active participation. Activities include learning through play, hands-on energy conversion experiments, and nature-based experiences around the artificial lake of Agia.
– Warm thanks to Kostas Bombolakis (Backlight Photography-Architectural photography Chania) for the creation of three clips.
